SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Senior Clinician and/or Program Manager, provides direct and/or supportive services in a group setting to a client population identified as having substance abuse issues.

  • Provides and coordinates a continuum of treatment services within the group modality onsite and/or in the community.
  • Provides comprehensive substance abuse diagnostic assessments of client’s needs. Initiates appropriate referrals to other clinicians for any issues outside the scope of substance abuse.
  • Develops individuated treatment plans with participation from the client and conducts individual substance abuse counseling.
  • Completes necessary documentation and reporting and meets productivity standards established by the Senior Clinician and/or Program manager.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in the agency’s service population.

    Education and/or Experience:
    High school diploma required                                                               
    Computer Skills:
    Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel                                                     
    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
     CADC certification or CADC eligible
